WHAT ON EARTH LANDED ON THIS FIELD????

The further right hand corner of the field looking from the road was rather amazing. What ever was the force that had been working here, and I tell you it was not a bunch of humouristic students, it had followed the edge of the field yet leaving a narrow stripe of erected crop. The force had obviously recognised the shape of the field - or the force came from the field itself! What could have caused all this?? There was a strong impact of some massive air turbulence running around the field in all directions, yet not exceeding the borders of the field - and leaving a part of the crop totally undamaged. Still the overall geometry of the flattened area was more or less random, though an aerial view would have told more about this. There was a pretty red farmhouse nearby. I decided to go and see if anybody was at home; perhaps they could shed some light on the mystery. An elderly man who opened the door. He was not the owner of the field, but I asked him anyway if he had noticed any special storm or strange things around lately. He said he hadn't noticed anything special apart from the rain and wind that had been around everywhere most of the summer. But he said the field goes flat every summer! The owner had even changed the crop type several times, but it hadn't worked. This year, however, the damage was larger than ever. Conclusion? None. Without a proper scientific investigation it's impossible to say what kind of forces were responsible of this. But apparently it has something to do with the field itself. Perhaps there is some strange kind of energy center below the field. Something that attracts rain and wind? I don't know. In any case the resemblance with the Crop Circles was apparent. Although the overall geometry was not that of typical Circles, the details were - thought they were somehow exaggerated. I have believed for some time that the Crop Circles are created by an intelligent control of natural phenomena. Was there an intelligence at work over this field? I don't think so. I think the regularities were caused by some features in the energy fields or some underground alignments in the moisture, minerals or something else. Or perhaps they had something to do with the sowing tracks. But it sure seems the forces here were something very similar to those making the Crop Circles! Martin Keitel, 1998
