THE PERFECT CIRCULAR GEOMETRY OF

page5
Finally let's take a quick look at the way how the crop was laid down in this formation. In this picture I have marked the linearly flattened parts, which is something quite unique to the Harlequin triangle. Only the central circle is laid in the typical spiral way.
Assuming the flattening was done by BoLs ("Balls of Light") flying over the field, they would have had to make quite a few passes to accomplish this floor pattern!

This detail shows how the flattened parts of the borders with thickness are clearly laid down separately from the larger areas. It has been observed that even in simple circles there is a narrow ring in the perimeter that differes from the rest, considering the way how the crop is bent down.

Is this a trace of the barriers restricting the "painting of the formation"? Or is it so that two barriers close to each other were used, and the space between them was laid down like the rest? If a thick barrier bends down the stems, then how a part of the three rings (the part outside the formation's edge) was not affected. I still find it hard to believe that this kind of barrier, using sound or any other kind of energy, could be the shape of a partial ring. Rather I'd think the large ring would somehow cut off the effect of the smaller circular barriers.

But this is still not the end of it. Several people have started to study if the Circles, or some of them, could be projections of 3-dimensional shapes. I was kind of hinted to look at this possibility. So I did. And what I found out... well, you'll see on the next pages! (sorry, they include animations and may be a bit slow to download with modems).
