CROP CIRCLE IN SUOMUSJÄRVI, Finland
In a weed field, discovered 15 June, 2006
The following diagrams show the exact measurements of
the design and the direction of the lay, as exact as they can be considering
the quality of the plants. You can see that the shape is far from
symmetrical; the circles are not perfectly round, the swirl centers
are clearly offset, the alignments of the paths are not perfect. But
if you look at the direction of the laid-down weeds, they are not
at all simplistic. Where the plants could just be flowing to one direction,
they make strange curves and twists. The center of the large ring
was not flattened, neither were there paths leading to it. Yet the
ring is quite close to a perfect circle.
The man who was most excited about this crop circle was a friend
of mine who used to live in that community and now spends time there
occasionally. When I made a crop circle in
Keuruu ecovillage together with other people living there for
a festival in 2002, he got interested in the phenomenon and he sent
a request "out there" to receive a crop circle in that field
of weeds in their community. It seems his request was met, only it
was with a four year delay!
